SignSpark is designed to stay simple: choose your real sign size, tell it what you want to advertise, and let the creative engine build the ad. Use this guide when you want to understand what a feature does or which option to choose.
Getting started
1. Choose the correct sign. Use the actual LED pixel matrix for the display you are creating for.
2. Keep the request simple. Tell SignSpark the offer, event, product, service, or message you want advertised. You do not need to describe every design detail.
3. Create, review, then refine. Use Update Ad for a specific change or Give Me Another Idea when you want a different concept.
Tip: SignSpark is the creative director. Start with the advertising idea instead of trying to write a full graphic-design prompt.
Brand Kit
Brand Kit gives SignSpark your business identity: business name, exact uploaded logo, and brand colors. Turn Brand Kit on when you want the ad to recognize and use that identity.
Brand Forward keeps the design more disciplined around your saved brand colors. Flexible gives SignSpark more palette and layout freedom while still keeping the brand recognizable.
If Brand Colors is unchecked, your logo can still be used while the creative palette has more freedom.
Make logo the hero
Turn this on when you want your logo and brand identity to become a major part of the creative direction—not simply a small supporting logo.
SignSpark may make the logo more prominent, use its colors and visual personality to influence the layout, and build the advertisement around the brand.
Best for: strong wordmarks, mascots, restaurant brands, dealerships, schools, teams, and other businesses where brand recognition should be one of the main visual ideas.
Leave it off when: the offer, product, service, or another main visual should dominate and the logo should play a supporting role.
“Make logo the hero” does not simply mean “make my logo bigger.” It tells SignSpark to let the brand shape the composition.
Create From My Photo
Use this when the advertisement must feature a real customer-supplied subject such as a vehicle, product, food item, property, person, storefront, or other real photo.
SignSpark builds the ad around the uploaded subject. The source photo remains temporary session input and is not saved as the original photo in My Designs.
When a customer photo is active, the photo becomes the main hero. Logo Hero is disabled so the design is not forced to make two different assets compete for the same role.
Give Me Another Idea vs. Update Ad
Give Me Another Idea asks SignSpark for a different creative concept using the same advertising idea.
Update Ad is for a specific change to the current design—for example, changing a price, date, headline, or requested detail.
Successful versions are saved separately in My Designs instead of overwriting the earlier design.
Adapt to Another Sign
Use Adapt when the same advertising message needs to fit another saved LED display.
SignSpark does not simply stretch the pixels. It rebuilds the composition for the new sign shape while preserving the advertising intent and important content.
Your original design stays unchanged. The adapted version is saved as a new design.
Preview and downloads
The browser preview is sized to fit your workspace. The final LED PNG keeps the target sign's native pixel dimensions.
Extra-wide signs may use a working/master artwork strategy and can offer a full-artwork download. This is intentional so unusual physical matrices can still receive usable creative.
Credits, free designs, and account access
New eligible accounts receive three free designs after email verification. Paid plans use SignSpark credits for creative operations.
Your available balance appears in the app. If an account or billing issue prevents access, open Account first to confirm verification and subscription status.
If a technical failure deducts credits without delivering a usable design, contact SignSparkAI support so the transaction can be reviewed.
